Christmas at the Creek House
It was a nice Christmas at the Creek house this year even though we missed those not here with us. Grandpa was definitely the favorite with Macy and Ryan. Even Andrea got in on the play time.
We sang Happy Birthday to Jesus.
Dad read us the Christmas story and Ryan and Macy helped.
We made sure to leave milk and cookies out for Santa.
We set out our stockings.
There may have been some reindeer.
All the presents before Santa even came.
Macy made sure Santa ate the cookies she left.
We had a crazy morning opening presents.
And Uncle Spencer took us to Grandpa's grave and helped remind us why Christmas is important. That Christ's birth was significant so he could live and die on the cross that all would be resurrected one day.

Thanks, Beth.
ReplyDeleteNothing better than Christmas with the family. I loved every minute of it: remembering Christ and enjoying life the way he would want us to enjoy it--together.
ReplyDeleteI thought the picture of Macy with the bag was classic.
