I also suggest the mask. I went without a mask for a little bit doing drywall and regretted it. I always wear a mask when doing dusty things like that now. What kind of texture are you going for when you're done? Spray on? Flat? Brushed? We're considering doing the drywall finishing ourselves, but probably will only do the sheet hanging.
Way to go on building your house! Can't wait to see the finished product. but you should wear a mask so you don't breath in all that dust.
