October
So, I came up with this crazy idea to name our son the month/day he is born. That joke lasted about 4 minutes, but the month part actually is kinda sticking. We're thinking of naming him October Hansen (middle name is still up for grabs) and nick naming him Tobe or Tober. We'll probably go with a more 'normal' middle name and I told Jen she had free reign if she did let me name him October. I mentioned it to a few people at work citing that I had known May's, June's, April's, and Julie's. My coworkers mentioned they know a few Augusts and loved the name October. Our home teacher origionally didn't like Tobe, but when he heard it was from October he loved October. I thought that was unusual to like October but not Tobe. We'll see what happens in the end.

That is definitely a unique name. I've never met anyone with that month namesake. To be honest, I've been sitting here saying it over and over again trying to decide what I think. And I still don't know. I like it though I think. And Tober sounds like Topher which made me giggle. But isn't baby naming a fun job? :) What happened to Peregrine and Tolman?
ReplyDeleteI like October. Maybe you could call him Toby for short. Unless you hate that name. I guess it's kind of dog-like. But you know... it's pretty good, and normalish. I could see calling a guy "Tobe" though, that works.
ReplyDeleteI love the name tobe. I had a really good friend in middle school named Toby. That is my two cents. Enjoy the name game.
