Potatoes!!!

I won 50 pounds of poatotoes today. Two of my roommates also did. It was at a Spud Race for charity. We each bought a $5 styrofoam potatoes to race down a stream. It was fun and one of those only in a small town in Idaho things that I just had to attend. I din't win a real prize just got a box of potatoes for participating. We just made a potato bar flyer and put them on lots of our friends doors and are havin people over to eat them tomorrow after church. Good thing its fast sunday and college kids always welcome free food.

Still haven't grown out of it.

A few months ago I posted about being acident prone. And just in case you were all wondering if in the past few months I had grown out of it... I'll ease your wondering. No I'm not. So yesterday I was cooking Spaghetti for my roommates. We each take a night to make dinner except Saturday. My day is Wednesday. Ok I was draining the spaghetti and my arm was really sore from my flu shot a few hours earlier. And the pot was really full and heavy. See where I'm going with this. Well I dropped the pot in the sink. And the water liked the twist of the law of what goes up must come down. It went down and came up and splashed all over my face. I'm ok now. It just was really painful and turned my face splotchy red. My roommate was amazed and wouldn't stop laughing but horrified laughing. And every time she looked at me with ice on my face she laughed again. Looking back it was amusing. We still can't figure out how the strainer ended up inside the bowl of spaghetti. I decided the moral of the story is I shouldn't cook anymore.
