BACKYARD FUN

We had fun playing in the yard tonight. We were playing duck duck goose, going up and down the slide, pushing on the swings, and Evan had fun tackling Beth. The weather was great. The only bummer was that Oliver was sick and not able to join in the fun. Hopefully you feel better soon Ollie.

Our new house and Idaho trip

FUN AT THE CABIN!!!!
Charlie and Macy on the 4 wheeler going through the puddles on the trail. You can see the cabin in the background. We had fun riding the 4 wheelers. There were alot of fun cabins in the area.
Macy had so much fun playing in the sand and mud next to river. On the first day it was a little chilly but it warmed up the next day and we stayed there for a couple hours. Charlie studied for his big test and Macy and I built sand castles. She liked destroying them more than she liked making them.
This is a picture of our new house in Twin Falls, Id. We are really looking foward to moving in and being on our own again. It is a 4 bedroom 2 bath house with a nice back yard. We will post more pictures as we move our stuff in. We will move in the first of August.

A Memorial Day to Remember

We had a fabulous memorial day. It was beautiful weather and we spent alot of time outside. Here are a few pictures of the highlight of the day: Grandma and Grandpa Hansen enjoying the backyard. Grandpa especially was so alert. He would clap for Macy when she went down the slide. He even tried to convince Charlie to let him sit on the swing :) Later that night we had a fun BBQ and roasted marshmallows and played fun yard games. It was really the perfect day.
Today has been a bit different than yesterday:very emotional and full of unexpected events.Grandpa Hansen passed away peacefully this morning. I have never been in the room before at the moment someone passes away. I felt very peaceful, yet sad to see someone so special move on to the next step in life. I am greatful for the plan of salvation that promises families can be together forever.
The next adventure of the day was being admitted into the hospital. I had been feeling some cramping and some contractions they were lasting longer than I thought normal so after talking to my doctor he suggested I go into the hospital to check on things. I am glad to report that the baby is fine and so am I. Just some false labor. You would think after having a baby I would know the difference. The doctor said to get lots of rest and fluids for the next 7 weeks and to try to stay off my feet (Ha, like that can happen with Macy)Well I can try at least.
